The story of Layout Engine

　　Gecko -- NG layout engine. Now used by Mozilla's
Presto -- Opera (7 and above) layout engine.
Elektra -- Opera (4-6) layout engine.
WebCore -- Mac OS (Safari) layout engine. It combines the open source KHTML layout engine developed by the KDE project, with an adapter library called KWQ (pronounced Quack).
Trident -- IE layout engine.
