SmartGit 是一个 Git 版本控制系统的图形化客户端程序。SmartGit8最重要的特点是，取代了以前的外向观提供了一个集中和紧凑视图到当前分支的日志，它跟踪分支和一个任意分支。而操作日志对话框或登录不需要太多这样的操作。

[*] https authentication: no username/password prompt for multi-line
"authentication failed for" errors
GUI:
[*] Compare: unindent (Shift+Tab) did not keep selection
[*] some Ctrl+Alt+<key> accelerators fail if the focus is in a text control
(reason: Ctrl+Alt+<key> is used with some keyboard layouts to enter special
characters)
[*] OS X: tree nodes did not occur immediately (especially in the Output view);
added work-around for https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=501907
