Hello,
I'm trying to learn how to use laravel, but I am encountering a problem with the installation.
I'm trying to install laravel on ubuntu server, so I:
1) Installed basic LAMP-stack
2) installed openssl and mcrypt:
sudo apt-get install opensslsudo apt-get install php5-mcryptsudo php5enmod mcrypt 3) Installed composer:
curl -sS https://getcomposer.org/installer | phpsudo mv composer.phar /usr/local/bin/composer 4) Went to my html folder and created a new laravel project using composer:
cd /var/www/html
composer create-project laravel/laravel --prefer-dist
5) Added write permission s to the storage folder:
sudo chmod 777 /var/www/html/laravel/storage Now when I launch a browser and navigate to localhost/laravel/public a see a blanc page.
Also, Error reporting in php.ini is set to E_ALL.
I'm really struggling for quite some time now..
Can someone help me with this? What am I missing?
