Install Google Chrome Web Browser on Ubuntu 18.04
Download the latest Google Chrome .deb package with wget:sudo wget https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
Install the Google Chrome .deb package by typing:
sudo dpkg -i google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
Starting Google Chrome
Now that Google Chrome is installed on your Ubuntu system you can start it either from the command line by typing google-chrome or by clicking on the Google Chrome icon (Activities -> Google Chrome):
