Problem(Abstract)
[size=0.76em]Frequently getting error DB21017E The Command Line Processor encountered a system error with the front-end process output queue. Reason code = -2029060029.
Symptom
[size=0.76em]The following message will be returned in the db2diag.log file:
[size=0.76em]DB21017E The Command Line Processor encountered a system error with the front-end process output queue. Reason code = -2029060029. SQLO_QUE_EXCEED = maximum system queue limit exceeded.



Cause
[size=0.76em]A kernel resource limit has been reached. Specifically the MSGMNI kernel parameter value been exceeded.

Diagnosing the problem
[size=0.76em]For additional info on Return Codes run the following from the command line:

db2diag -rc  -2029060029

Resolving the problem
[size=0.76em]Increasing the system message queue ( MSGMNI) parameter value in the kernel will resolve the issue.
