　　IMPORTANT: Windows Management Framework 3.0 is not currently compatible with the following applications:

• 　　System Center 2012 Configuration Manager. For more information, see KB 2796086.
  
• 　　System Center Virtual Machine Manager. For more information, see KB 2795043.
  
• 　　Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. For more information, see Windows Management Framework 3.0 on Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010.
  
• 　　Microsoft SharePoint 2010. For more information, see Windows PowerShell 3.0 and SharePoint 2010.
  
• 　　Windows Small Business Server 2008 and Windows Small Business Server 2011. For more information, see Windows Management Framework 3.0 applicability on Windows Small Business Server 2008/2011 Standard.
  

　　Systems that are running the above server applications should not run Windows Management Framework 3.0 at this time. WMF 3.0 is otherwise supported on Windows 7 SP1, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, and Windows Server 2008 SP2.
　　Windows Management Framework 3.0 requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0. You can install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=212547
　　In addition, the following requirements apply:

• 　　To install Windows PowerShell Integrated Scripting Environment (ISE) for Windows PowerShell 3.0 on computers running Windows Server 2008 R2 with Service Pack 1, before installing Windows Management Framework 3.0, use Server Manager to add the optional Windows PowerShell ISE feature.
  
• 　　Before installing Windows Management Framework 3.0 on Windows Server 2008, you must download and install the version of Windows Management Framework which includes Windows PowerShell 2.0, WinRM 2.0, and BITS 4.0 as a prerequisite. This version of Windows Management Framework is available at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968929.
  
• 　　Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) must be installed as a prerequisite on computers running Windows 7. To install SP1, go to http://windows.microsoft.com/installwindows7sp1
