win7下Mysql5.5设置成utf8,但还是不能插入中文

  我的mysql在安装时设置的字符集是utf8,但是插入中文字段时还是会报错ERROR:1366(HY000)Incorrect string value
  C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.5\my.ini如下

You should set the combined size# of log files to about 25%-100% of your buffer pool size to avoid# unneeded buffer pool flush activity on log file overwrite. However,# note that a larger logfile size will increase the time needed for the# recovery process.innodb_log_file_size=24M# Number of threads allowed inside the InnoDB kernel. The optimal value# depends highly on the application, hardware as well as the OS# scheduler properties. A too high value may lead to thread thrashing.innodb_thread_concurrency=8
但是在创建表后却不能插入中文字符
  create table test (id char(5) primary key,info char(200));
当插入中文字符时报错insert into test values ('00001','中国');报错ERROR:1366(HY000)Incorrect string value
  解决方法:把my.ini的CLIENT SECTION部分中的default-character-set=utf-8改为default-character-set=GBK,其他的都不变,然后重新打开mysql的cmd界面执行插入操作就ok了。

开始->管理员方式运行->cmd

停止:net stop mysql

启动:net start mysql
