Hermione pulled a small sealed glass jar out of her bag.

“—into a beetle.”

“You’re kidding,” said Ron. “You haven’t…she’s not…”

“Oh yes she is,” said Hermione happily, brandishing the jar at them.

Inside were a few twigs and leaves and one large, fat beetle.

“That’s never—you’re kidding—“ Ron whispered, lifting the jar to his eyes.

“No, I’m not,” said Hermione, beaming. “I caught her on the windowsill in the hospital wing. Look very closely, and you’ll notice the markings around her antennae are exactly like those foul glasses she wears.”

Harry looked and saw that she was quite right. He also remembered something.

“There was a beetle on the statue the night we heard Hagrid telling Madame Maxime about his mum!”

“Exactly,” said Hermione. “and Viktor pulled a beetle out of my hair after we’d had our conversation by the lake. And unless I’m very much mistaken, Rita was perched on the windowsill of the Divination class the day your scar hurt. She’s been buzzing around for stories all year.”

DH – A New Female Character一位新出现的女小说人物

In PS/SS, Professor McGonagall used her Animagus form to gather information on the Dursleys merely to satisfy personal curiosity. In GoF, reporter Rita Skeeter used her Animagus form to gather personal or secret information that normally she would not have access to in order to keep her gossip column “hot.” In DH, a new female character will also use her Animagus form in order to gather information. Each previous character has been newly introduced and they each have been female; hence, the Animagus will be a new female character. Who will she be spying on? McGonagall only spied on the Dursleys due to Harry, and Rita Skeeter focused her columns around Harry, meaning that the new character will be spying on Harry. Will she be spying on Harry for the Order or for Voldemort? Following the intentions of the previous characters, the next step after Rita would be someone with a nefarious objective. The new character will be spying on Harry and reporting to Voldemort.在PS/SS中，麦格教授使用她的阿尼马格斯外形来收集德思礼一家的信息是仅仅为了满足自己的好奇心。在GoF中，记者丽塔·斯基特为了保持她的专栏“火爆”使用阿尼马格斯来收集个人隐私或秘密情报，这些平时她都无法得到。在DH中，同样会有个新的女人物为收集信息而使用阿尼马格斯。前面每个人物都是新出现的，并且她们都是女性；因此，这个阿尼马格斯是一位新出现的女性人物。她将刺探谁？麦格仅仅是为了哈利而观察德思礼一家，丽塔·斯基特将她的专栏围绕着哈利这个话题，这意味着新出现的女人物也会刺探哈利。她是为凤凰社还是为伏地魔来刺探哈利？顺着先前人物的意图，丽塔后将会有人为伏地魔刺探哈利。
