Oracle Database 10gDatabase Administrator Certified Associate (OCA)
Effective December 01, 2008, a new SQL testing requirement will be integrated into the Oracle Database 10gAdministrator Certified Associate (OCA) certification. In addition to the current certification track requirements, candidates will be also be required to to pass any one of the three following Oracle SQL exams to earn the 10gDBA OCA:
·Introduction to Oracle9i: SQL (1Z0-007)
·Oracle Database 11g: SQL Fundamentals I (1Z1-051)
·Oracle Database SQL Expert (1Z0-047)
If you are currently working towards earning your 10gDBA OCA, you have until December 1st to finish all exams under the existing requirements. The new requirement will take effect beginning December 1, 2008. Exams are available for registration now at the Prometric web site. For more information, visit the Oracle Certification web site.
