在向大家详细介绍ubuntu系统修改之前，首先让大家了解下ubuntu系统，然后全面介绍ubuntu系统，希望对大家有用。ubuntu系统设置Ubuntu 将有规律和计划的不断发布; 每 6 个月发布一个新版本。你可以使用当前稳定版本或者开发版本。每一种版本的安全升级将支持 18 个月。
1、ubuntu系统修改IP地址：sudo vi /etc/network/interfaces
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 219.218.122.168
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 219.218.122.254
2、ubuntu系统修改DNS： sudo vi /etc/resolv.conf
nameserver 202.194.15.12
3、使网络生效：sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
Ubuntu8.04虚拟机更换host主机后开机无法加载网卡,提示:No such device
删除缓存文件，重启后解决。
sudo rm /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules
reboot
ubuntu系统配置更新“源”
在ubuntu系统（其他linux系统，如Redhat,Open SUSE,Fedora Core也差不多）里，“源”就是指系统更新用的服务器，源地址，自然就是指更新服务器的地址了。 ubuntu“源文件”所在位置： /etc/apt 文件夹，名称：sources.list
1. 编辑源的文件：sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
2. 更新源上的包：sudo apt-get update
3. 备份源的文件：sudo cp /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list_backup
4. ubuntu系统ubuntu 8.10 台湾源。其他的都不稳定，大家想要的话，可以去网上搜索，很多的，我这里只给出我认为最稳定，速度也不错的台湾源：
