解决错误：ASP.NET Error: Failed to access IIS metabase

　　今天重新装了系统，然后重新安装了vs2005,突然记起忘记安装iis了。并且出现了如下错误

ASP.NET Error: Failed to access IIS metabase


This error showed up prior to the error "Mutex cannot be created" which I descirbed in my last post. I wrote down this to help other poor guys saving their poor time.

The more complete error message is as following:

Failed to access IIS metabase.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the
current web request.
Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and
where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.Web.Hosting.HostingEnvironmentException:
Failed to access IIS metabase.

The process account used to run ASP.NET must have read access to the IIS
metabase (e.g. IIS://servername/W3SVC).

1.进入ＤＯＳ命令行
2.cd \
3.cd c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v2.0.50727
4.然后执行命令 aspnet_regiis -ga administrator //注：administrator为当前登录用户名
5.aspnet_regiis -i -enable
6.net stop iisadmin
7.net start w3svc


//对了说一下，aspnet_regiis.exe这个程序是在c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v2.0.50727目录下的，如果你的不是windows xp sp2，那么请您搜寻该程序，只要执行相同的命令即可.




如果出现Mutex could not be created错误

　　I have got the same issue. It seems like Visual studio 2005 and the web application pool running ASP.NET 2.0 are having a conflict over the temporary folder.
The workaround I have got for now is:
  - If you have visual studio 2005 is open, close it
  - Go tot the ASP.NET temporary folder for v2.0 of the framework
    <Windows dir>\Microsoft.Net\Framework\v2.0<extra numbers>\Temporary ASpNET pages
  - Remove the folder for your application (or all of them)
  - Reset IIS (on a command line window, >iisreset) [not always needed, but I had to use it sometimes]
  - First Browse your page from IE (http://localhost/your app)
  - Then reopen Visual studio

-到ASP.NET 2.0 的临时目录
  我的是：windows\Microsoft.Net\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files
-删除这个文件夹

-先用ＩＥ打开你的．ＮＥＴ２．０配置好的站点（我的是http://localhost/web）
-然后打开Visual studio 2005
（注意最后两步一定不能颠倒!）
